Oh hi, it's been some time since I have had a chance to say hello....
Man, life has gotten out of control lately. Not in a bad way, just so busy. I have been trying to stay ahead of my school work and major projects because the next month I know that I will slowly lose motivations. I have had all these grand plans for blog posts,
Levi and I had an experience on Saturday that I just had to take some time to sit down and write about. Life has been crazy for us, many things are changing and we are going in a direction we didn't think we would. I am not trying to be mysterious we just can't talk about it right now. Soon though! Very soon. So anyways we were on a walk on Saturday discussing life and how we were feeling about where God was taking us. It was a rather long walk (6 miles) because I am walking in Bloomsday this year instead of running because well at that time I will be 34 weeks pregnant. While on the trail we were stopped by a couple who asked if were from the area. They wanted to find a better view of the river and lake. As we were talking and walking the couple asked us what we did for work. Through the conversation it came up that we work with Middle School students. He then shared that he was a minister and asked if we were happy with the direction of our lives or if we were feeling forced to make decisions we didn't want to make. That caught us off guard but Levi happily replied that our new adventure was scary but we couldn't be more happy with the direction God was leading us. As we began to part ways he asked if he could pray over us. He prayed over the ministry we are apart of, over Addison, and over our marriage.
Wow. I have honestly never had that kind of experience in my life. It was a God moment. A moment where we knew that God was telling us that He had us and it was going to be okay. I can't fully describe the comfort that we felt after leaving that conversation. God is good. I pray to have the boldness that he had. To let the Spirit lead me.
